“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you. And you will be my witnesses, telling people about me everywhere—in Jerusalem, throughout Judea, in Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Acts 1.8
Not only has God given us the ability to share his good news with people in our immediate locale, he has also empowered us to touch the lives of people around the world. The generosity of our community has enabled more than 70 missionaries & organizations around the world to extend the love of God and the mission of our church “to the ends of the earth.” We are also privileged to be able to send short-term teams to assist these organizations with more specific and unique ventures. If you’d like to help send teams, you can do so below, by clicking on the individual’s name to give toward their trip costs individually, or you can give to the team as a whole by clicking the “Give Now” button under “Current Trips” below.

What is King’s Castle?
King’s Castle Ministries, founded in 1989, has the purpose to “raise up an army of young, Spirit-filled warriors who would invade Latin America with the simple message that ‘Jesus saves and is coming soon.” As a church C2 has a long standing relationship with King’s Castle and has been taking trips for almost 12 years. King’s Castle works hand-in-hand with local churches to bring the gospel to the children and families of El Salvador. When we go to El Salvador we go to partner with what King’s Castle is already doing and to serve them in whatever way we can. King’s Castle has four facets of ministry that the team participate in: (1) Street Evangelism, (2) Medical, (3) Building Projects & (4) Children, Family, and Marriage Center.
What would I do on this trip?
Depending on the size of our team and the talents and skills determine what we do year to year.
This year we will be focusing on street evangelism. We will learn dances and skits as a form of spectacle evangelism as we travel to different neighborhoods and schools within El Salvador. During the programs, we will pass out candy, play games with kids, and ultimately partner with their national team to share the gospel and help foster relationships between the local children and families and the national church.

LIVING GATEWAYS – GUATEMALA

Est. Cost: $1700/person
What is Living Gateways?
Living Gateways mission is to cultivate awareness and understanding of mental health challenges and trauma
The organization serves as a living gateway to bridge Guatemalans with services, programs and mental health professionals who can facilitate their spiritual and mental wholeness. As a Christian ministry, Living Gateways stands as a beacon of light, sharing the message through our work that God sees the people of Guatemala, He loves them, He cares for them, and wants them whole. This work is for the whole person of all ages, starting with school aged kids through the Feeding Hearts and Bellies monthly program and continues through youth rallies, conferences, and more.
What would I do on this trip?
For 2025, some of our goals for the C2 team are to work at our team house and include a collection of smaller projects like switching out interior doors, power washing concrete floors and walls, painting, installing windows. Depending on the team members and skill sets that join the team, we also have a water leak in a light socket in a dark staircase that needs to be repaired! We would also love to install a playground in the yard of the church we partner with and where we host our monthly feeding program for 45 children. Pending what days the trip is booked for, at least one, if not two free days, are up for discussion this year with a hike up the side of a volcano as one potential possibility! Celebrating Guatemala’s widely popular National Children’s Day is also on the books so a VBS with a big party one evening is slated for one of the activities this year’s team will help with
